2024 Hydrant Flushing Program

The Jackson Township Municipal Utilities Authority’s 2020 Flushing Program will begin on Monday, April 1, 2024 and will run for approximately eight (8) weeks. 

Flushing will take place Monday through Friday (excluding holidays), between the hours of 2:00am and 6:00am.

Overall, flushing water mains and fire hydrants helps improve water quality and ensures that our fire hydrants are functioning properly. During that time, residents may experience a temporary reduction in pressure and may potentially experience discoloration of water.

The Authority would like to thank the residents of Jackson Township in advance for their understanding and cooperation as we proceed with this necessary program so that we can continue to provide you with the highest quality drinking water.
